Republika Wina is pleased to introduce a new Warsaw experience: Poland in a Glass!
Believe it or not, vodka is no longer our national drink. The old saying "Drink like a Pole" has recently gained a completely different meaning, now translating to “a sophisticated, open-minded explorer”.
For the last couple of years, wine culture in Poland has been booming, and with over 500 registered vineyards there is plenty of wine to choose from. Whether it's white, red, rose, bubbly, sweet or funky orange… You name it, we produce it.
We're getting really good at this!
So whether you are a serious wine drinker or just looking for something fun and original, come and meet us for this tasting session. You will try 7 meticulously chosen wines that show the true character of Polish terroir. To complete the experience, we prepare a set of snacks containing unique Polish cheeses and cold cuts from local producers.
We don't strive to become a second Burgundy but we will challenge you during the blind tasting. Will you be able to tell the difference?

Szymon Milonas
Szymon Milonas is a trainer and lecturer with over 15 years of experience in teaching adults. A teacher by passion and profession. He is an importer and sommelier, certified Wine & Spirit Education Trust teacher, he passed the first exam under the Court of Master Sommeliers. He is also a member of the board of the Polish Sommeliers Association.
Kasia Drzewowska
A story-teller passionate about wine, people and traveling. WSET Level 3 in Wines graduate and a self proclaimed cheese addict searching for an ultimate wine and cheese pairing. Deeply involved in educational projects and events promoting polish wine. Let's meet for a glass or two!
Justyna Sawińska
Certified wine lover since 2015! Justyna is still searching for new aromas and wine experiences. She is a wine educator at Wine and Spirit Education Trust school, she also runs her wine sets subscription business. Justyna organizes events, tastings, wine dinners and writes articles about wines.
